My name is Chris Thompson and I have lived in this great town for the past 30 years.  My interest in the the old photos and the history of Milford began when my parents gave me some old framed Milford postcards that they had picked up at an antique store.  I figured that other people that had ties to Milford would be just as interested in these old pictures as I was.  So in December of 2000, MilfordPictures.com was started with an initial very basic web design and about 20 photographs.

The site really took off in April of 2002 when it was featured as a front page article in the Nashua Telegraph.  The design of the web site led to what I consider a 'published' version of the site.  In late 2002 with the help of the collection of the Milford Historical Society, Arcadia Publishing released the book with my name on it,  "Images of America Milford".

The site was re-designed and updated in April of 2005 and again to celebrate the 10-year anniversary of the site in December of 2010.  Though I can't always pay as much attention to the site as I would like to, I continue to encourage everyone to dig through those old shoe boxes of photos!
