Knight Street Aerial Thanks to Kitt Stimson from Fort Washington Maryland for this great picture. His text describing the picture follows: The photo is an aerial view at the intersection of West Street and Knight Street, circa: 1947. The West Street Cemetery is in view. The residence in the center of the photo is that of Murdoch Smith at 20 Knight Street. The green houses behind the main house were for his florist business. He owned and operated "Smith Florist." Murdoch and his family immigrated from Scotland and arrived in Milford in 1923. He was a stone cutter in the Milford quarries before going into the florist business. Murdoch and his wife, Jessie, are interned at Riverside Cemetery. They were my grandparents.
