Olive Street  - Thanks to Catherine Fowle for sending in this picture. Her mother Wanda grew up in Milford from her birth in 1919 till approximately 1926. She was the youngest of seven children of William & Eva Pritchard. This was one of the homes that they lived in at 4 Olive Street.

Summer Street  - Thanks to Jonathan Billings for sending in this picture of his Great Grandfater's home on Summer street here in Milford. Here are his comments: "My great grand father was L.C. Billings. My grandfather was Walter. We've attached a picture of L.C.'s home in Milford. Think the photo was taken in the 1890s since it shows a horse and buggy". This house still stands today on Summer street and is the fourth house on the right coming up from Amherst Street.

Fitch Farm  - Thanks to Nancy Fitch Schooley for sending in this photo of her family's farm at Fitch's corner in Milford. Information from Nancy: The larger boy in the foreground is my dad Guy Fitch. Beside him is his brother John. The lady is Phebe (their mother) and the boy in the wagon is another brother Wallace. The farm has been in the family for many years and was the Fitch Farm at that time. It must have been in the early 1900s.

Lull Estate  - This is the former Lull Estate on Nashua Street. This is the current location of the William Y. Wadleigh Library. Notice the Lull fountain off to the right which still stands on the Library property today.

McLane House  - Ex-Gov. McLane's (1905-1907) Residence from a post card. This house was where Brooks is today just to the North of the post office on Grove St. It was built in 1838 and razed in 1962 to make room for a supermarket.

Oak Street  - Thanks to Randall Cox for sending this picture in. Here are the comments: This is the house where my mother Cynthia (Randall) Cox was born and raised. She is living there today. My grandparents were Earle and Marion Randall. The address is 26 Oak Street. It is right at the end of Orange Street. The other picture sent in with this one is located in the 'street scenes' section of this web site.
